Privacy policy.
Last updated 16 October 2026
This policy explains how Graham Sweet (ABN 26213760600), who publishes apps as Flat Earth Yeti (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles personal information in connection with the Dollop’s Food Passport app (“the app”), this website and our support emails.
The short version.
- Everything you put into the app stays on your device. We never receive it.
- There’s no account, no sign-up and no cloud sync.
- The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We don’t sell or share personal information.
- We only receive personal information if you email us.
- You can change or delete a passport at any time in the app’s Grown-ups area.
For little tasters.
Dollop keeps your passport on your grown-up’s phone or tablet. Dollop doesn’t send it anywhere or show it to anyone else. Your grown-up can change it or delete it whenever they like. If you have a question, ask your grown-up.
1. Who we are
Dollop’s Food Passport is made by Graham Sweet (ABN 26213760600), trading as Flat Earth Yeti. You can contact our Privacy Officer about anything in this policy:
Privacy Officer, Flat Earth Yeti
Email: Hello@flatearthyeti.com
2. What the app keeps, and why
The app is designed for a grown-up to use together with a young child. Everything below is entered by the grown-up or created by the app, and it is kept only in the app’s storage on the device you use it on.
- Child profiles: the name or nickname you choose, and a colour. You don’t have to use a real name. A nickname works just as well.
- Passport entries: the name of each new food you type in, the date it was stamped and where it sits in the passport.
- Progress: full pages, gold stars and the mega prize, which the app works out from the entries.
- Food idea settings, including the region you choose so suggestions suit where you live. The app never uses GPS or your device’s location.
- Reminder settings: whether reminders are on and when. If you turn them on, your device schedules and shows them itself. We don’t send them and can’t see them.
We use this information only to run the app on your device: to show the passport, celebrate progress, suggest new foods to try and give you the reminders you ask for. Food suggestions are simple ideas worked out on your device from the foods already logged. They don’t make any decision about you or your child.
3. What the app doesn’t do
- It doesn’t ask for an account, a login, an email address or a phone number.
- It doesn’t access your location, camera, photos, microphone or contacts.
- It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and no third-party code that collects information.
- It doesn’t send passport information to us or to anyone else. It works without an internet connection.
We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don’t use it for marketing.
4. Where it’s stored, and for how long
Passport information stays on your device until you delete it. We can’t see it, and we can’t recover it for you if it’s deleted or the device is lost.
If your device backs up apps, for example through iCloud Backup or a backup to a computer, a copy of the app’s information may be included in that backup. Backups are controlled by you through your device and account settings and handled by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy. We have no access to them.
5. Changing or deleting a passport
- To change a child’s name or colour, or to fix or remove a food, open the app’s Grown-ups area. It sits behind a simple grown-up check.
- To delete a child’s passport, delete their profile in the Grown-ups area. This removes the passport from the device permanently.
- To delete everything, delete the app from your device. Any copies in device backups remain until those backups are deleted or replaced.
6. Buying the app
Purchases are made through Apple’s App Store and handled by Apple under its own terms and privacy policy. We don’t receive your name, Apple Account or payment details. Apple gives us sales and download reports that don’t identify you.
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may also give us combined crash and usage statistics that don’t identify you. You can turn this off at any time in your device’s privacy settings.
7. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it and anything you write. We use this only to reply, to help you and to fix problems with the app. You don’t have to give us your real name to ask a question. Please don’t tell us more about your child than you need to. A first name or nickname is plenty.
We keep support emails for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Our email is provided by Google Workspace, which stores messages on our behalf. Subject to applicable data-location commitments, Google may store or process these messages outside Australia, in countries where Google or its subprocessors maintain facilities. For more information, see Google’s Cloud Data Processing Addendum.
8. This website
This website has no sign-up, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. Like most websites, our hosting provider, Replit, may automatically record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site and keep it secure. It may store this information outside Australia, including in the United States.
Links to the App Store take you to Apple’s website, which has its own privacy policy.
9. Children’s privacy
Dollop’s Food Passport is designed for children aged 2 to 5 to enjoy with a grown-up. The grown-up sets the app up, types in the foods and controls the settings, which sit behind a grown-up check. The app has no chat, and any links or purchases sit behind the grown-up check, out of children’s reach.
We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, for example in an email, contact us and we’ll delete it.
The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner is developing a Children’s Online Privacy Code. If the Code applies to Dollop’s Food Passport, we will follow it and update this policy.
10. Who else sees personal information
We only share personal information with the service providers named in this policy, who handle it on our behalf, or where the law requires us to. We don’t disclose it to anyone else.
11. Keeping information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the support emails we hold from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, and we limit access to the people who handle support. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the law requires.
12. Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask us for access to any personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. In practice, that means your emails to us, because we never receive passport information. Email our Privacy Officer. There’s no charge, and we’ll respond within 30 days.
If you’d like this policy in a different format, ask us and we’ll provide it free of charge.
13. Making a complaint
If you’re concerned about how we’ve handled personal information, please write to our Privacy Officer first and tell us what happened. We’ll look into it and respond within 30 days.
If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
14. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy whenever the app or our practices change, and change the date at the top. If an update changes what the app keeps or where information goes, we’ll also say so in the app’s update notes.
15. Contact
Privacy Officer, Flat Earth Yeti: Hello@flatearthyeti.com. If you can’t use email, tell us in your first message and we’ll arrange another way to talk.
